NexCore and TCAR Showcase

I just want to remind everyone that we have a Showcase coming up on June 23rd, 2009. Thanks to the Nexcore Group, we'll be showcasing the third floor of the new Rex Healthcare building in Knightdale. 6602 Knighdale Blvd to be exact. When we visited the location I was amazed at the growth in that area and really how close it is to Raleigh. It's a beautiful building so anyone that specializes in leasing medical really needs to take a look at his place. Courtney Hanfland, VP of Asset Management and Leasing, was kind enough to show us around the new facility. Currently there is space available on the second floor and there is the whole third floor where we'll be having the showcase.



I'm really excited about our speakers. First, I'm looking forard to NCRCA Chairman, Drew Showfety. I think so many TCAR members forget that they have membership not only in NAR and NCAR but there is this whole commercial thing of the REALTORS Commercial Alliance. There has been a lot of work going on with NCRCA and I'm excited to bring someone in to talk to the group about it.



Then there is Kevin Brice from the Traingle Land Conservancy. With all the discussion about green and conservation and the fact that part of our mission talks to playing a positive role in the "social sensitivities" in our area, we decided to bring Kevin by to talk about how local conservation is actually good for your business.



So come on by Tuesday, June 23rd and have lunch from the Knightdale Seafood and BBQ. Highly recommend them for stopping off to visit their restaurant and if you ever have any catering needs. Anyway, as always, the afternoon is free to members and $25 for non members. Please keep in mind this is a function of TCAR, so if you don't want to be charged, you need to join. We start checking folks in at 11:30 and then get the program started at around noon. All the while you can network with each other and eat some excellent BBQ.
